On the nose the whisky is sweet, with hints of dark chocolate, barley and butterscotch

Flavour

Rich and spicy, the mouthfeel is very smooth, with notes of nuts and dried fruit.  The finish is sweet and lingering

« Full and rounded with a disarming squeeze of apple juice, silky delivery followed by an onslaught of superb spices, a touch of Demerara sweetens the drier oaks, the caramel kicks in slightly, as does the grain, but age is apparent, lots of entertainment value from high quality whisky. The blender has done a great job in the lab. »
